Biscay’s tax authorities have decided to extend the implementation period of Batuz ([which includes TicketBAI](https://www.fiskaly.com/blog/ticketbai-faq)) in order to facilitate this change for companies and professionals in the province. Thus, compliance with Batuz and TicketBAI will become mandatory, depending on the type of company and in a gradual schedule, from 2024 to 2026. In any case, Bizkaia will maintain the tax incentives for those who voluntarily comply with the new regulations before the established deadlines.

The [key takeaway](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6997925713240596480) was that digital receipts are a big topic for POS vendors in the hospitality industry.
